My wife came home raving about how good their shawarma was so I went with her to give it a try. I enjoyed it a lot! It was fresh and crispy, but more importantly their customer service was amazing. I always see people of all backgrounds getting food here so I’m certain you’ll like it!

Decided to finally try- Different than most typical shawarma or bowl middle eastern restaurants in the area- we have four Middle Eastern restaurants right by our house, so wasn’t sure if this was going just to be another one or something different- Service was eh- Flat monotone hellos- goodbye Small interior but neat and clean- Small food prep area - tight space Ordered beef shawarma bowl- I am determined to find my NYC Halal Bro cart chicken rice this wasn’t it, but it was still tasty- The meat was a little tough and dry, but mixed in with the hummus and the tahini sauce-I had hoped that the meat would be shaved off of a large meat skewer (can’t remember what they are called) but I saw him grab a handful of it from a container and tossed it in the pan to reheat which may be why it was a little tough and dry- The rice was seasoned nicely, moist, and delicious- they sauté of the peppers and I think their pickles was in the peppers-I like that they sliced the peppers and they aren’t huge chunks- I was almost going to ask them to make it without the peppers because I thought they would be chunky- it was $17 but I can get 2 small meals out of it. If my husband shares it with me, then isn’t enough for both of us- i’m happy to say they aren’t like regular Middle Eastern restaurants where they give you a pound of rice and then 2 ounces of meat. The ratio to meat was good-I definitely still think $17 is too much but that’s what’s happening now in this world. And I’m sure it won’t be long that that’ll be jacked up to $19 or $20. And at that point I won’t be purchasing A scoop of hummus is included with this and it was very tasty. Smooth and it wasn’t heavily pasty and wasn’t overly flavored of tahini. I ordered a small side of hummus and was concerned because it was a little bit darker than the hummus that was in the Shawarma bowl and thought maybe it was going to taste too much like tahini paste but it was perfect— not as creamy as I like, but it was very tasty-I usually make my own, but didn’t have any chickpeas at home to whip up a batch- The bread is the flat pita bread, but it was fresh and had that perfect chew - Unlike many who posted, and I think many of these people are your Instagram posters, there was nothing that made me go wow I’ve got to come back to this place. And I’ll be honest if a place seems unfriendly because there’s a lack of engagement between staff and customer , I get the feeling you don’t want me there and I most likely won’t return - I know culturally there are different ways that men interact with women and I respect that but you can still smile and you can still say hello and I’m not going to think you are hitting on me or being flirty. I tried asking a couple questions regarding the unique sandwich that they make, and the guy mumbled his word so much that I couldn’t understand what he was saying, and he looked bothered that I was even asking.

Stop searching. This is the best shawarma I've ever had. Hands down. Food was quick, fresh, and oh my goodness the chicken and fries were perfectly seasoned. If you like good food you need to try this immediately. My only regret is not going and shaking the hand of every cook that contributed to my meal today.

Wow. Double wow. First time trying this modest-sized restaurant in a plaza set off of Middlebelt. Glad that I read the reviews and gave it a try. My husband loves lamb. I ordered him the lamb chop meal. He said it was the best lamb he has had in years anywhere. I had the chicken shawarma plate. Absolutely delicious. And hummus and pita was so tasty. Vegetables in the meals done perfectly. Really good food and generous portions. Such welcoming and friendly staff. We will be back when we are in town.

I flew in from Vegas to try this place, it was absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect, every bite and detail. The workers have exceptional service and there was little to no wait. I will definitely fly back in just to try it again, im writing this after I devoured my meal.

Stopped by Shawarma Co Livonia and tried the chicken shawarma saj meal — really good experience overall. It came out on a full platter with seasoned fries and a couple different dipping sauces, it was  fun to eat! You can kind of build your own bites and mix everything together, which made it feel different than just a normal sit-down meal. The chicken had great flavor, fries were seasoned and crispy,  everything worked well together. The platter could  be for one person, but we shared it between two and it was still plenty. We also saw one of the larger family-style platters come out for another table and it was huge — looked like a lot of fun for a group. I’d definitely go back, and next time I’d probably try one of those.

Just broke my fast yesterday at Shawarma Co in Livonia, and wow—what a perfect way to end the Ramadan day! I got the Shawarma plate (chicken, since that's my go-to), and it was absolutely phenomenal. The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly spiced with that authentic Middle Eastern flavor—garlicky, tangy, and just the right amount of warmth from the seasoning. It came loaded on a generous bed of yellow rice that was fluffy and buttery, plus fresh salad, pickles, and a side of the creamiest garlic sauce that ties everything together beautifully. I added extra toum because why not? Every bite was pure bliss after a long day of fasting. The portion was huge and satisfying—definitely felt like a proper iftar feast without feeling heavy. Everything tasted super fresh and made-to-order, and the staff was so welcoming and quick even during busy Ramadan hours. Halal, flavorful, and hands-down one of the best shawarma plates I've had in the area. If you're in Farmington/Livonia and craving authentic shawarma to break your fast (or anytime!), this spot is a must. 10/10, will be back again and again. Ramadan Mubarak and thank you for the amazing meal!
